Puppet Varsity Jacket

Designed by the late Virgil Abloh, this jacket was part of Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer 2021 collection, first unveiled in Tokyo. Expertly crafted, it features an oversized fit with a rich cobalt wool body, contrasting white embroidery, and white leather sleeves. Adding a playful touch, Abloh adorned the jacket with two whimsical "puppets"—a checkered rabbit and a pink flamingo—meticulously sewn onto the front. The puppet motif exemplified Abloh’s fascination with incorporating "ready-made" elements into his designs, and it made a striking debut across the collection that season, leaving a lasting impression in the world of high fashion.
