Bogdan Plakov, the artist behind the project, debuted his first object during Milan Design Week in 2024, marking the start of this new creative journey. As a director and photographer he often explores different mediums as a means of expressing his ideas resulting in Ratio Rei, expanding his visual storytelling into the physical world.
By revisiting dice games — often associated with chance and luck, the artist highlights the essence of both fast money and the unpredictable nature of the fast life itself. The choice of the marble composition symbolizes a reminder that while marble takes millions of years to form under intense pressure, a roll of the dice can make or break fortunes in seconds. This lot features six of these finely crafted dice.
The money clip made in collaboration with NM3 is engraved with “Lo que fácil llega, fácil se va” or "Easy come, easy go” - a final layer of this narrative - a well-known proverb that speaks to the ephemeral nature of the fast life cash.
