Nigo and Futura have been friends and collaborators since the late 80’s/early 90’s, sharing many similar passions; music, film, style, collecting, and art - to name a few - many of which have resulted in iconic collections and milestone moments in history. Futura’s groundbreaking abstract graffiti is featured on many of Nigo’s early record covers, as far back as his 1997 Ape Sounds album, and they have collaborated on a number of celebrated fashion projects such as Futura Laboratories x Nigold and Kenzo. Futura continues to push the limits of music, contemporary art, style, and fashion – often intertwining the categories.

A particularly special work, the sheet includes three cow leather tabs across the top, which were presumably used for hanging. Spray paint and acrylic on unstretched canvas.

NigoとFuturaは、80年代後半から90年代初頭にかけての友人でありコラボレーターであり、音楽、映画、スタイル、コレクション、アートなど、多くの似たような情熱を共有してきた。Futuraの画期的なアブストラクト・グラフィティは、1997年のアルバム『Ape Sounds』まで遡ると、Nigoの初期のレコードジャケットの多くに描かれている。また、Futura Laboratories x NigoldやKenzoなど、数々の有名なファッション・プロジェクトでもコラボレーションしている。Futuraは、音楽、現代アート、スタイル、ファッションの限界に挑み続けている。

特に特別な作品であるこのシートには、上部に3つの牛革のタブがあり、おそらく吊り下げるために使用されたものと思われる。
