Dunk Low 'Syracuse'

A perfect fusion of streetwear, art, and sports, the Nike x Off-White x Futura Dunk Low 'Syracuse' sneakers seamlessly blend Virgil Abloh's deconstructed aesthetic with Futura's legendary graffiti. Originally shown at the Off-White Spring 2020 Menswear collection presented in 2019, this rare pair features the Syracuse blue and orange colorway, a dual-lacing system, and Futura's spray-painted signature over Off-White's inscription on the interior sole. Futura referenced his favorite sports team, the New York Mets, and New York skate legend Danny Supa, as his connection to this blue and orange colorway. Additional standout details include Futura Laboratories "FL" graphic on the heel, and "Kid Cudi" in Futura's writing in Sharpie on the exterior sole of the left shoe.

This deadstock pair comes complete with the full Futura box set, including the original silver box and paper, as well as the exterior orange 1520 pelican case, emblazoned with Futura's and Virgil's signatures on the outside. This pair was gifted to Kid Cudi by FUTURA, as a collector and lover of both contemporary art and sneakers.

Kid Cudi was a long time admirer of Virgil Abloh's creative genius, particularly his ability to reimagine everyday objects in groundbreaking ways. More than just an admirer, Cudi and Virgil were friends, sharing a deep mutual respect for one another's craft. This friendship led to a number of collaborations over the years, with Virgil lending his creative visionary touch to Cudi's album merchandise, two of these collaborative shirts are offered in this sale.
