When Pharrell's Adidas partnership was first announced in 2014, he began making appearances in custom 1-of-1 Adidas gear made for his most discerning customer—himself. Prior to his vast adicolor collaborations playing with monotone sneakers, he commissioned several bold leather iterations of the classic adidas track jacket. The most famous of these is the red color, which he paired with a vintage Vivienne Westwood Mountain Hat for a look that went so viral it became a cherished part of internet history.
