Casio G-Shock × Bape DW-6900

Originally designed as a line of sports, military and outdoor-oriented timepieces, Casio’s legendary G-Shock watches are adored for their robust utilitarianism. They’ve also been lovingly adopted by Hip Hop and street culture and this diamond encrusted, 14K white gold rendition (there is also a yellow gold/yellow diamond version) illustrates the sweet spot between those separate worlds. It is a perfectly balanced exercise in form vs. function. In addition to the flooded bezel and case, the back is also frosted with a diamond studded caricature of Pharrell, borrowed from the In My Mind album cover artwork.
