A long-pin jabot brooch in platinum with French hallmarks, designed in the form of an arrow — a feathered fletching at one terminal, a tapered arrowhead at the other, joined by the slender pin shaft that passes through the fabric of a lapel or blouse front. The fletching is set above the central spine with old mine, single-cut (G-J/VS-I) diamonds totaling approximately 1.15 carats spreading outward through the feathers. The arrowhead at the opposite end carries a matching pattern at smaller scale. The jabot pin was the defining accessory of the early 1920s, born from the cravat pin tradition and re-engineered for the elongated necklines of the period.
