For the first residence in the Tokyo area, NOT A HOTEL partnered with NIGO for complete creative direction. Built into a cliff overlooking the Tokyo Bay and Mount Fuji to the property’s floor to ceiling windows, NIGO has curated the entire experience from its architectural splendor to the smallest of details.
Featuring masterpiece furniture from Jean Prouvé and Pierre Jeannette, a chef’s kitchen, a listening room with speaker’s from New York’s innovative OJAS, the house has touches of NIGO everywhere - from the duck in the property's beautiful swimming pool, sleeping pods which mimic NIGO’s own personal vacation home, to the traditional tea room, inspired by NIGO’s deep involvement in the world of Japanese pottery. With a sauna, gym, and wooden Japanese bath, every element of the stay is exquisite.
All of the home's artwork is curated by NIGO, including a giant statue by KAWS, located on the roof of the seaside home, overlooking the Tokyo Bay, in all its grandeur.
