Blue Perspective Chair

In 2008, Pharrell added another hyphen to his already hyper-hyphenated title. Furniture designer. It was early confirmation that the hyphens were deserved and that he could tell a story aesthetically as effortlessly as he could sonically. In partnership with French upholstery house DOMEAU & PÉRÈS, Pharrell designed the Perspective chair—a literal-legged, exploration of love and relationships. Four colors were produced in editions of four per color. This lot is one of the only four blue editions of the personified, quadrupedal pedestals for posteriors ever produced.
