Reversible Silk Embroidered Tour Jacket

This custom reversible silk embroidered jacket was created alongside the Louis Vuitton Spring 2016 Menswear collection, at the creative direction of Kim Jones. The show was defined by its global inspiration, and was complete with music by Nile Rodgers. Crafted from luxurious silk and adorned with intricate embroidery, one side of the jacket features bright red sleeves, a deep blue body, and embroidered white monkeys climbing in a white bamboo forest with vibrantly colored flowers. The reverse side, with creamy white sleeves and a deep blue body, showcases a playful embroidered Louise Bourgeois quote: "I have been to hell and back. And let me tell you, it was wonderful." The jacket is both a testament to the beautiful craftsmanship of Louis Vuitton and wanderlust inspired vision of Kim Jones.
