Marking Ben Baller and Takashi Murakami's first official collaboration, as well as Murakami and Kaikai Kiki's first ever official jewelry partnership, this 18k yellow gold and rainbow gemstone spinning flower pendant is an extraordinary fusion of fine jewelry and contemporary art. Playfully dubbed a "fidget spinner" by Ben Baller, the piece debuted at ComplexCon in 2019, instantly becoming one of the event's most coveted releases.

The collection featured a total of seven pieces: three black diamond editions, three rainbow editions, and a single VVS1 white diamond special edition. Limiting each person to only one pendant purchase, every piece sold out immediately, but Kid Cudi as an exception was granted permission to purchase two including this rainbow edition (2/3) and a black diamond edition. Cudi was there to perform and celebrate the 10th anniversary of Man on the Moon: The End of Day, one of the most influential hip-hop albums of the 2000s.

Kid Cudi and Takashi Murakami first collaborated in Murakami's Japan studio to create the cover art for Cudi's 2018 Kids See Ghosts album. An avid collector and longtime admirer of Murakami's work, Cudi has amassed an extensive selection of the renowned artist's creations. Over the years, their relationship has evolved into a genuine friendship, inspiring a series of remarkable collaborations.
