No One Ever Really Dunks. The Nike Dunk is arguably one of the most important silhouettes in what we now know of as sneaker collecting and sneaker culture. Originally released in 1985, Nike re-released the Dunk in the early 2000s, followed by a tightly curated series of influential collaborations with influential brands, artists and musicians. In 2004, they recruited Pharrell to create the N.E.R.D dunk. Limited to just 1,050 pairs, the design was inspired by the stingray bands and other elements of De Grisogono watches with black embossed leather, silver Nike swoosh and the N.E.R.D. logo embroidered on both the shoe’s tongue and heel. Dunk collabs are a monumentally important part of sneaker culture and this one in particular was one of the first.

The sneakers are accompanied by extra laces and the original NIKE tag and are 0007/1050.
